## Description

The Club de Taekwondo de Sainte-Foy has provided taekwondo instruction since 1973, welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels. The club presents the Korean martial art as more than a sport, emphasizing discipline, respect, perseverance, determination, and self-control alongside physical development. Training takes place in a safe environment led by experienced, passionate instructors, including a technical director who has taught since 1997 and a dedicated coaching team.

Programs include children’s classes beginning at age four, with progression from introductory training through black belt, as well as adult classes for beginners and advanced students. Participants seeking additional challenges can join recreational competition training or elite, high-level preparation for international competition. The club also offers taekwondo self-defense training focused on protection techniques and adapted fitness sessions for adults aged 50 and older.

Instruction develops flexibility and agility while introducing taekwondo’s fast kicks and formal poomsae patterns. The club provides online registration through the secure Qidigo portal and is supported by a volunteer board of directors.
