## Description

Tahir Foundation is a privately funded organization founded by Dato’ Sri Prof. Dr. Tahir, chairman of Mayapada Group. Its vision is a better Indonesia where everyone can access adequate healthcare and education to improve their quality of life. Guided by the belief that resources should benefit people and society, the foundation works to help realize the full human potential of Indonesians.

Healthcare and education are central to its work. The foundation aims to improve access to medical care for people who may be unable to afford treatment, and it supports educational institutions to help nurture Indonesia’s young people and future talent. Its areas of activity also include social prosperity, sports, disaster relief, agriculture, and humanitarian efforts. The website lists initiatives and projects associated with Covid-19, the Global Fund, and the Gates Foundation, alongside its broader programs.

Through these efforts, Tahir Foundation focuses on practical support that can strengthen communities and improve lives.
