## Description

Tai Chi im Pott is a Tai Chi teaching and practice community in Oberhausen, Germany, led by Iwona and Andreas. The instructors present Tai Chi as a martial art, a way of personal discovery, a relaxation practice and a form of health support. Their approach, called “Tai Chi Spielen,” draws on Daoist ideas and combines them with biomechanical, psychological and communication principles. Rather than focusing only on imitation and repetition, its exercises encourage participants to explore movement, balance and interaction for themselves.

The programme includes introductory sessions, ongoing courses and workshops in Tai Chi Spielen, Swinging and Grounding, Push Hands and sword practice. These activities develop relaxation, balance, centering and awareness of how to receive and release force. Private lessons are available for people seeking individual instruction or flexible scheduling. Tai Chi im Pott also offers workplace courses, talks, workshops and seminars intended to help employees manage stress and support wellbeing.
