## Description

Club Tai-jitsu Llanera is a martial arts club dedicated to the practice, promotion and development of Tai-jitsu, a Japanese art of personal defence. Drawing on techniques originating in Daito-ryu and transmitted by Master Minoru Mochizuki, Tai-jitsu trains practitioners to respond proportionately and control an aggressor. Its methods include strikes, throws, joint locks, pins, chokes, sweeps and takedowns, applied across standing and ground situations.

The club offers classes for children and adults, taught by accredited, federated instructors. Pre-Tai-jitsu sessions introduce children aged four to six or seven to basic movement, coordination, discipline and respect in a family-oriented setting. Children’s classes develop confidence, fitness and coordination, with access to officially recognised grades and competitions. Young people and adults can train in self-defence, physical conditioning, mobility and cardiovascular fitness, with opportunities to pursue recognised grades and compete.

Training takes place in Lugo de Llanera and Lugones on weekdays and Saturdays, with schedules tailored to each age group.
