# Tailgating Against Cancer - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `tailgatingagainstcancer.org` ## Description Tailgating Against Cancer is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer and advancing the search for a cure. Founded in memory of Stephen York Coleman, who died in 2011 after a three-year battle with brain cancer, the organization carries forward his legacy of perseverance, courage, and dignity. It raises funds for the Stephen Y. Coleman Fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and the UT Graduate School of Medicine, helping support the next generation of oncology physicians. The organization brings communities together through fundraising events and awareness initiatives. Its annual memorial golf tournament features team play, two shotgun starts, and prizes for contest winners and top-scoring teams. Other events have included Sock It Out of the Park, which set a Guinness World Record for mismatched socks at an event, and Touch a Truck, a family-friendly community gathering benefiting the UT Cancer Institute. Tailgating Against Cancer also shares news, articles, reports, and event galleries, and accepts donations through PayPal. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Health Conditions and Concerns _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/TailgatingAgainstCancer) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idyUDf8Qdx/w/167/h/125/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793178209974) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idyUDf8Qdx/w/480/h/479/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793178210229) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tan Hide | #f8a247 | accent | | Pesto | #79792f | dark | | Catskill White | #f2f6f9 | light | ## Fonts - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
