## Description

The Tailhook Association, based in San Diego, CA, is an esteemed independent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting aircraft carriers and sea-based aviation. Celebrated as a leading advocate for naval aviation, the Association fosters camaraderie among aviators and promotes the vital role of aircraft carriers in national defense. Their initiatives include awarding over 100 scholarships annually through the Tailhook Educational Foundation, aimed at assisting the families of naval aviators and aviation crew members pursuing higher education. Members enjoy access to exclusive resources, such as the official journal, The Hook Magazine, which provides insights into U.S. Navy carrier aviation history and current developments. The Tailhook Association also offers a vibrant community for discussion and exchange of ideas among aviators, facilitating a platform through its Ready Room Forum. With a commitment to honoring the legacy of carrier-based aviation and promoting future leaders, the Association continues to engage and educate the public about the significance of naval aviation.
