## Description

Onderwijs Communicatie Groep (OC Groep) is an independent Dutch organisation that helps students, parents and education professionals make informed school, study and career choices. Founded in 2010 by parents seeking clearer information about secondary schools, the organisation works to make education options accessible, reliable and easier to compare. Its main resources are the VO Gids, for secondary-school choices, and MBO Kompas, for vocational education and career pathways. Available in print and online, these guides present schools, programmes and education systems in a structured, transparent way. Supporting tools include SchoolWijzer and StudieWijzer, which help students explore and prepare for their choices. OC Groep’s materials are used by teachers and school counsellors as part of ongoing guidance, and can also support conversations between students and parents at home. The organisation collaborates with schools, public authorities, businesses and community partners, including Stichting Leergeld, Ouders & Onderwijs and Stichting Saarisnietgek. Through its publications, learning methods and partnerships, OC Groep aims to promote equal access to information and better-informed transitions into secondary and vocational education.
