## Description

Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne is a free, family-friendly public art trail presented by St Oswald’s Hospice in partnership with Wild in Art and The World of Peter Rabbit. Held in Newcastle and North Tyneside, the event features 96 oversized Peter Rabbit sculptures, each uniquely designed by artists, alongside smaller sculptures created by local schools and community groups. The outdoor gallery invites residents and visitors to explore streets, parks and public spaces, enjoy an accessible summer activity, and discover artwork inspired by Beatrix Potter’s much-loved character.

The trail raises vital funds for St Oswald’s Hospice, supporting local children and adults who rely on its care. It also brings communities together through opportunities to explore the sculptures, take part in a learning programme, and follow trail news and events through email updates and social media. After the trail, visitors can attend a farewell weekend at Newcastle’s Civic Centre and an auction where the sculptures are offered new homes.
