## Description

The Underground Network is a faith-based movement that supports diverse expressions of church through small, missional communities called microchurches. Its local network connects more than 100 microchurches across the Tampa Bay area, while its wider relationships include sister movements around the world. The organization aims to inspire, engage, connect, and empower missional people, churches, and networks. It emphasizes that the church is made up of people gathering in worship, community, and shared purpose, rather than being defined by buildings, budgets, or leadership structures.

The Underground helps people find a community, develop new ministry ideas, and connect existing ministries with support. Its services and resources include coaching, finance and media support, church support, city-movement guidance, webinars, online courses, and resource materials. The network also hosts gatherings and events, including its weekly Day One gathering, and shares stories and learning through a podcast and newsletter. Based in Tampa, The Underground offers ways for individuals and ministries to participate locally and connects with people seeking to strengthen small expressions of church in other contexts.
