## Description

Tampere Roller Derby (TRD) is a skater-owned and operated flat-track roller derby league based in Tampere, Finland. Founded in 2009, the club brings together competitive and recreational teams and welcomes people interested in taking part in the sport. Its two travel teams, Tampere Roller Derby All-Stars and Tampere Howlin’ Rolls, compete at national league level and in international games. The club also offers a recreational team, Combat Wombats, for members who want to enjoy roller derby outside the travel teams.

TRD provides training and development opportunities for new skaters and officials, alongside information for beginners and guidance on equipment. Its stated aim is to create a safe and meaningful space where people can train, grow and thrive. The league rejects racism and gay- or transphobia, and regards the diversity of its members as a strength. New players and other prospective members are welcome to contact the club to learn more about joining and getting involved.
