## Description

Tandem is an AI-native hardware development platform from Tandem Intelligence, designed to help engineering teams connect design intent, requirements, CAD changes, validation evidence, and release documentation in one shared system. The platform supports the hardware development loop from early definition through design, review, validation, and release, helping teams capture requirements, constraints, system structure, ownership, and success criteria.

Tandem’s AI is grounded in a team’s processes and data to automate engineering outputs, including engineering change order drafts, design reviews, drawings, design-for-manufacturing feedback, impact reports, assembly documentation, and traceability reports. The goal is to reduce routine work and help teams develop hardware faster while maintaining clearer connections among customer requirements, design decisions, and product changes.

The platform is intended for complex hardware organizations across aerospace, space, medical devices, robotics and industrial equipment, consumer technology, maritime, automotive, and heavy machinery. Tandem cites users including Fluxergy, Endiatx, Vaxon Space, Starlight Cardiovascular, Tusk, and Daily’s, and references integration with SolidWorks and Autodesk.
