Tangerine Tales is a brand owned and operated by Mrs. Kelly Ann Hughes, a storyteller, artist, children's writer, and inspiring teacher. With a strong passion for fairytales and drawing since she was a little girl, Mrs.

Hughes's love for stories and illustrations led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and work in corporate design on the east coast. However, a personal-spiritual awakening shifted her focus to embrace her life as an artist fully. Her journey took her to various countries and cities, ultimately bringing her back to her small hometown in NJ.

By chance, she discovered the joy of teaching and spent over 15 years teaching early education and the arts. In a new city, Mrs. Hughes started face painting at the Ballard Farmer's Market, where her love for storytelling flourished, leading her to entertain kids at parties, schools, and corporations in the Seattle area.

As an owner of Tangerine Tales LLC, she offers face painting, storytelling, and creative canvas painting services. Currently residing in Lakewood, WA, Mrs. Hughes continues to write children's books, explore nature, and inspire others through her YouTube channel.
