## Description

Tanya Leighton is a contemporary art gallery established in Berlin in 2008, with locations in Berlin and Los Angeles. It represents more than thirty artists and estates, supporting emerging, mid-career, and established practitioners. The gallery’s cross-disciplinary, trans-generational programme brings together contemporary work and historical practices, helping bring marginalised figures into contemporary art discourse.

Through exhibitions at its gallery spaces and off-site projects, Tanya Leighton collaborates with artists, filmmakers, critics, art historians, and curators. Its programme also includes talks, publications, and events, and the gallery participates in international art fairs. Recent and upcoming exhibitions feature artists including Atsushi Kaga, Luisa Rabbia, Antonio Ballester Moreno, and Lunita-July Dorn, while its wider artist roster spans a range of international practices.

The gallery began on Berlin’s Kurfürstenstraße, opened a second Berlin location in 2015, and expanded to Los Angeles in 2021. Visitors can explore current and past exhibitions, artist projects, news, and a shop through the gallery’s website. Both locations welcome visitors during regular opening hours and by appointment.
