## Description

Ka. Ge. Prinzengarde der Stadt Wuppertal e.V. is a Wuppertal carnival society dedicated to celebrating local traditions and the wider carnival culture. Established in 1948, the red-and-white organization brings together its Prinzengarde and Tanzgarde, with a particular focus on carnival dance sport and its many forms. The society shares information about its history, members, honorary guards, leadership, and traditions, including its society orders and carnival customs.

Its activities include dance-gard training, participation in carnival events, and performances that can be booked through the organization. The website also provides schedules for the carnival season, event information, news, press coverage, and a gallery documenting the society’s activities. Visitors can find details about joining, contacting the group, and attending its standquartier in Wuppertal-Vohwinkel, which is open on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. The Prinzengarde presents itself as a community rooted in local identity, celebrating Wuppertal’s heritage through carnival, dance, and shared events.
