## Description

Tapete Records is an independent music label focused on distinctive artists and releases spanning punk, pop, indie, psychedelia, folk and guitar-driven music. Its catalogue brings together contemporary musicians and recordings that preserve and revisit influential scenes, including early German punk. The label releases new albums, EPs, singles and compilations, as well as anniversary editions and archival collections, often on vinyl and CD. Recent releases featured on its site include work by Bärchen und die Milchbubis, Lande Hekt, Downpilot, Starter Car and The Telescopes, alongside retrospectives of groups such as Korpus Kristi and Die Sterne. Tapete Records also sells music through its web shop, with selected limited editions and special formats available. Its website shares artist news, videos and release information, and promotes concert dates and tours for its roster. The label’s programming connects emerging and established acts with listeners, while its compilations and reissues make overlooked recordings and important musical histories accessible to new audiences.
