## Description

Tarantula House is a UK-based boutique studio creating original animation and immersive entertainment with a distinctive Gothic sensibility. Guided by the idea “Beautifully Dark & Uniquely Classic,” the brand brings together shadowy themes and carefully crafted visual aesthetics, spanning styles from stylised to realistic. Its creative focus is real-time animation and quality storytelling, particularly the kinds of stories the studio feels are rarely seen elsewhere. Tarantula House also aims to develop playable experiences, games, and other immersive projects based on its animation features, allowing audiences to engage with its stories in new ways. The studio describes itself as ambitious, independent, and committed to remaining outside the mainstream while making its work available through accessible platforms. It also maintains a strict policy against generative AI, citing concern about its negative impact on creative industries and the people who work in them. Through its original productions and plans for interactive experiences, Tarantula House seeks to offer a distinctive alternative for audiences drawn to dark, atmospheric storytelling and expressive animation.
