## Description

Tarek Gara is a writer, builder, and multilingual AI quality specialist working at the intersection of language and technology. Based in Jatt, he works at Innodata on AI quality across Arabic, Hebrew, and English, while developing ventures and creative projects. These include Folio, Tayyar, and Thaghra; Tayyar is a political atlas of the Middle East and North Africa that places parties and public figures on shared political axes using an openly scored, transparent rating panel. Gara also writes The Loop, a monthly publication featuring essays on multilingual AI, alignment, technology, and how products evolve. His work is available in English and Arabic. His library includes poetry and fiction, with three published books—Mortal Past, Crescent Moons, and Nonperson—and two works in progress. He also develops smaller tools, demonstrations, and methodologies through his playground projects. Alongside his professional and creative work, Gara is pursuing a thesis-track MA in Cyber Politics and Government at Tel Aviv University. His website brings together his writing, books, ventures, projects, and contact information.
