Tarkeeza is a digital platform dedicated to fostering development of managerial and promotional skills and experiences in the music industry. It offers in-depth courses and resources with the belief that continuous learning and success in the music industry can be achieved through professional specialization and mastery of long-term skills and tools. Tarkeeza's content caters to individuals interested in the administrative and promotional aspects of music, including DIY artists, arts management colleagues looking to deepen their knowledge in music management specializations, arts managers aspiring to expand their teams and facing difficulties in hiring qualified personnel, university students and recent graduates interested in career paths in music management, and music industry companies and institutions seeking to develop their human resources. Tarkeeza produces rich and precise content based on selected experiences and expertise from a private network of advanced trainers. The platform offers two initial tracks, Music Industry 101 and Artwork Writing in Music Management, with new tracks introduced every six weeks, diving deeper into specializations such as digital music marketing, sound engineering, record label management, music public relations, event and festival management, tour booking and management, publishing, and artist management. Tarkeeza has been developed and produced in partnership with Semsara Agency, as part of the North Africa Cultural Program launched by the Arab Culture and Arts Fund (AFAC) with support from the Swiss Cooperation Office. Some of Tarkeeza's tracks are supported by the British Council within the DICE program (Developing Inclusive & Creative Economies). The team behind Tarkeeza includes Sara El Menawi, the founder and director, May Mostafa, the grants manager, Aya Hussein, the track coordination and production manager, Fady Girgis Helmy, the content designer, Ahmed Fawla, the visual identity designer, Abdalrahman Hawwit, the editor, and Abdalrahman Hany, the website programmer.
