## Description

Tarpon Coast MTB Team is a Florida-based youth mountain biking team and part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) community. The program welcomes young riders of all skill levels, offering a safe, supportive setting to learn mountain biking, develop confidence, and enjoy outdoor adventure. Through coaching, trail skills practice, events, and group rides, team members can build their abilities, explore off-road trails, and choose whether to ride for fun, take on challenges, or race. The team emphasizes inclusion, with a commitment to ensuring every rider has a place and no one sits on the bench. Its approach reflects NICA’s values of strengthening bodies, minds, character, and communities through cycling. More than a riding program, Tarpon Coast MTB Team presents itself as a welcoming community where young people can grow together and form friendships. The organization also shares season information, team calendars, resources, and updates for families and supporters, and acknowledges partners who help make youth cycling possible in Southwest Florida.
