## Description

Tarra Festival is a community-focused Easter celebration held over the long weekend in Yarram, Victoria, bringing residents and visitors together for events and activities across the town and surrounding communities. The festival showcases the area’s local character, creativity and community spirit through a varied program designed to appeal to people of different ages and interests.

A major highlight is the Street Parade, which returned in 2025 and features colourful floats, live entertainment and local community groups. The festival also offers food and market stalls, entertainment and other scheduled activities throughout the weekend. For 2027, the theme, “Best of Our Back Yard,” celebrates the region’s distinctive places and people, from beaches and rainforest to farmers, sporting clubs and artists. The market on Easter Saturday morning is planned as a Farmers Market, with local produce available from stalls.

Visitors can consult the festival’s Schedule of Events for details, and find information about the parade, market stalls, entertainment, the Bunny Run and frequently asked questions through its website.
