Tarsus University, established in 2018, has its roots tracing back to 1992 with the founding of Tarsus Vocational School and Tarsus Health Services Vocational School under Mersin University. Over the years, the institution expanded significantly, creating faculties and institutes to enhance its educational offerings. It currently comprises seven faculties, including the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Engineering, along with one institute and two vocational schools.
