## Description

Rotary is a global organization dedicated to serving humanity by upholding the ideals of community service and ethical business practices. Founded by Paul Harris in 1905, Rotary originally focused on mutual benefits among businessmen. However, over time, the organization shifted its focus to serving society as a whole. The motto "Service Above Self" embodies Rotary's commitment to putting the community's interests before personal gain. With 1.2 million members worldwide, Rotary fosters international understanding, goodwill, and peace through friendship and collaborative action. The Rotary Club of Tartu is a non-profit organization that embodies these ideals locally, providing a platform for professionals to connect, share ideas, and engage in meaningful projects. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact in the world.
