## Description

Tasalapa Oy is a privately owned Finnish provider of child welfare services, established in 1998. Its work is based in Honkilahti, a rural village in the municipality of Eura, where the company operates three separate residential care units: Sijaiskoti Sampon Paja, Lastenkoti Jalava and Nuorisokoti Tammenterho. Sampon School is located in the grounds of Sampon Paja, providing a nearby learning option for children in care. The setting, surrounded by lakes and countryside, offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing and hiking.

Tasalapa’s aim is to support each child’s safe development in a way that is appropriate to their age. Its approach emphasizes everyday routines and reliable relationships. Educational options in the area include a primary school in Honkilahti, while lower secondary school, upper secondary school and vocational education are accessible in nearby towns. Through its residential care services and school, Tasalapa provides a local environment where care, daily life and learning can be connected.
