## Description

Tasmanian Made Markets is an Australian organisation that supports makers and handmade artists through in-person and online markets, festivals, training and business resources. Its events bring together artisans from across Tasmania, giving visitors the chance to discover handmade products, meet local makers and enjoy food and seasonal activities. Markets and festivals are held at venues including the Silverdome in Launceston and PW1 in Hobart, with winter and Christmas events among the featured annual offerings. The organisation also runs the Tasmanian Made Destash Market in Kingston twice a year, where people can sell craft supplies they no longer need.

For vendors, Tasmanian Made Markets provides opportunities to apply for market stalls and connect with shoppers, while a newsletter keeps makers informed about upcoming events. Its training and support cover topics such as branding, product selection, target audiences, market displays, and ways to increase sales and leads. The organisation also offers guidance on running successful markets and help with handmade businesses, including Etsy shops, social media and newsletters.
