Taste of Himalaya is the culinary brand of Babita Shrestha, a Nepalese author and culinary artist based in Lexington, Kentucky. Rooted in her Nepali heritage, global experiences, and fine arts background, Babita creates plant-based food that celebrates fresh ingredients, cultural diversity, and the nourishing qualities of home cooking. Her cookbook Plant-Based Himalaya presents 38 vegan recipes inspired by the foods she grew up cooking and eating, including grains, dal, curries, greens, sauces, and desserts.
