## Description

The TATA Social Enterprise Challenge (TSEC) is a premier national initiative co-organized by TATA Sons and the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Designed to identify and nurture promising social enterprises in India, TSEC encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions that foster social impact. Participants have the opportunity to receive significant cash rewards, including up to ₹10 lakhs for winners and seed funding of up to ₹1 crore.

TSEC supports participants through comprehensive incubation at IIM Calcutta’s Innovation Park, offering mentoring from esteemed social entrepreneurs and access to India's leading impact investors. The challenge emphasizes a diverse range of sectors, with eligibility extended to ventures up to four years old, regardless of the founders’ age or nationality, provided their initiatives aim to create social change in India.

By fostering a community of socially-conscientious entrepreneurs, TSEC plays a vital role in shaping the future landscape of social entrepreneurship and empowering the next generation of impactful leaders in the country.
