## Description

Tri County Gun Club is a members-only shooting sports facility in Polo, Illinois, serving Carroll, Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside Counties. Established in 1965, the year-round club occupies 50 acres of wooded, hilly terrain and offers outdoor ranges for a range of shooting disciplines. Its facilities include a lighted trap range with three houses and automatic throwers; covered rifle and pistol ranges with 25-, 50-, and 100-yard berms; 200-yard rifle ranges; and eight uncovered pistol ranges extending from 15 to 75 yards. The club supports activities including trap, IPSC/USPSA, bullseye pistol, high-power rifle, black powder shooting, and the Civilian Marksmanship Program. It also offers classes, including Illinois concealed-carry courses and refresher training through TCWC Defense Training. Although regular access is reserved for members, the club holds public events, including a free annual open house where visitors can explore and try its shooting disciplines without bringing equipment.
