Teach for the Philippines is a for-purpose, non-stock, non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing an excellent, inclusive, and relevant education for all Filipino children. Since its establishment in 2012, Teach for the Philippines has been working tirelessly to improve teacher quality and address the challenges faced by the education system. Through their three core programs, they aim to create a movement of high-potential Filipinos who can make a positive impact on student learning outcomes, initiate change in public school communities, and bring about transformative reforms in the education system.

Teach for the Philippines was built on the successful foundation of Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation (SAS), which developed a 30-day reading program proven by the MIT J-PAL Poverty Action Lab to significantly enhance the reading skills of participating students. Today, Teach for the Philippines has grown into a nationwide movement that has engaged over 300 Filipino teachers and community leaders committed to meaningful and positive change. Driven by their vision of building a nation of readers®, Teach for the Philippines aims to transform the public school system into the best it can be and ensure that all Filipino children have access to an excellent, inclusive, and relevant education
