## Description

TeachRock.org is a brand that aims to bring engaging and meaningful arts integration material to teachers and students everywhere. Founded by Steven Van Zandt, it offers a wide range of resources and services to enhance classroom learning through the power of music. TeachRock provides free, standards-aligned lesson plans and unit plans for various subjects, including Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, Math, and Music. From The Beatles to Beyoncé, their curriculum covers a diverse range of artists and topics, catering to students from kindergarten to AP History. In addition to their comprehensive lesson plans, TeachRock offers virtual and in-person training for teachers and school administrators. They also collaborate with districts, individual schools, and teachers to provide custom programs that integrate arts education into the curriculum. Used in more than 30,000 schools worldwide, TeachRock has received widespread acclaim. In fact, over 85% of teachers surveyed reported heightened enthusiasm in TeachRock classrooms. Their impact is evident in the words of a 7th-grade student from Chattanooga, TN, who said, This is the first time I have ever wanted to come to school and be on time, and it's because I don't want to miss TeachRock. With the support of their Artist Council, which includes notable names such as Erykah Badu, Common, and Peter Gabriel, TeachRock continues to inspire deeper learning and understanding through the power of music in classrooms around the world.
