## Description

TeamJF is a cancer-fighting organization honoring the life and legacy of Julian Fraser. Its mission is to raise funds for promising research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of childhood cancers, with a focused goal of finding a cure. Funds raised benefit Memorial Sloan Cancer Center and the Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy.

TeamJF brings people together through fundraising events, athletic challenges, and community outreach. Activities include cycling events, long-distance walks, and opportunities to donate or take part in organized events. Recent challenges include a bike ride from John o’ Groats to Land’s End and a self-funded 642-mile walk along the Via Francigena to Rome, raising awareness and support for rare cancer research.

The organization highlights the need for greater investment in rare cancers, including childhood cancers, and shares updates through its website and email newsletter. In its first five years, TeamJF reports organizing 35 events, building a following of more than 1,600 people, and raising $3.04 million.
