## Description

Team Lemonade is a support organisation created to help people with diverse abilities build skills, confidence and independence while taking part in their communities. Founded by Elaine, a mother of a young adult with Down syndrome and autism, the organisation grew from her experience seeking support for her son and a desire to create the kind of support system she wished had been available. Team Lemonade works collaboratively with members to understand their individual abilities, aspirations and needs, and to help them pursue their goals, including NDIS goals.

Its programs include personalised solo experiences, cooperative programs and short-term accommodation. These options are designed to support personal and social development, with experiences tailored to suit each member. The team aims to help members explore opportunities, develop autonomy and work towards living life to the fullest. Team Lemonade welcomes new members and invites individuals or families to make contact to discuss service interests, including other support needs.
