## Description

T.E.A.MS Essex is a registered charity supporting people affected by multiple sclerosis through therapy, exercise and community. Its welcoming group helps members make sense of a diagnosis, find practical guidance and connect with others who understand the challenges of living with MS. Whether someone is newly diagnosed or has lived with the condition for years, they are welcome to take part at their own pace.

Weekly Thursday sessions at the charity’s accessible meeting centre in Warley, Brentwood, are led by experienced instructors and therapists. Activities include guided exercise classes, stretching, one-to-one personal tuition and massage therapies intended to ease muscle tightness, stiffness and pain. Members can also meet informally over tea, coffee and homemade refreshments, making friendship and peer support an important part of the experience. The centre includes exercise areas and an upper-floor massage and stretch suite, accessible by lift.

T.E.A.MS offers support and advice for members, families and carers, with some team members also available for private work locally.
