## Description

John Tebeau is a talented artist who has been drawing since he was a child in Michigan. His passion for art led him to help start an alt-comic monthly in Chicago and to design and print thousands of wacky T-shirts in an old factory. His original art and prints have been showcased in prominent cities such as New Orleans, San Francisco, and New York. Recently, John wrote and illustrated the captivating book Bars, Taverns, and Dives New Yorkers Love which was published by Rizzoli in 2018. The idea for this book came to him during an art project where he drew and made silkscreen prints of his favorite bars in Brooklyn. After exhibiting these pieces at Fort Defiance and the Long Island Bar, the concept of a book was suggested and subsequently brought to life. John Tebeau currently resides in Brooklyn with his wife Colleen, and you can find his custom art available for purchase in his online shop. Stay tuned for upcoming book signing events where you can meet John and get a copy of his fascinating book. Follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to stay updated on his latest ventures.
