## Description

TechBikers is a cycling initiative created by Eze Vidra within London’s technology startup community to support Room to Read, a charity focused on children’s literacy. Bringing together people from startups, venture capital and executive roles, the group combines long-distance bike rides with fundraising for its cause. Since 2012, more than 1,000 tech professionals have ridden over 6,000 kilometers and helped raise £700,000.

TechBikers organizes rides across Europe, with routes that have included Paris to London, Copenhagen to Berlin and Vienna to Budapest. Its listed rides also include journeys from Avignon to Mont Ventoux and from Cognac to Bordeaux. Participants can explore ride information, sign up to the newsletter for news about future events, or donate to support the initiative. Sponsors and supporters contribute to the rides, with Reedsy named among them.

Through its events, fundraising and community involvement, TechBikers offers technology professionals a way to connect around cycling while supporting children’s literacy.
