## Description

Technicopedia, created by Blakbird, is a comprehensive resource dedicated to all things LEGO Technic. Blakbird, an Aerospace Engineer based in the northwest United States, developed a deep love for LEGO during his childhood in the 1970s, particularly the Space LEGO sets like the 487/924 Space Cruiser, the 6929 Starfleet Voyager, and the 6927 All Terrain Vehicle. Despite parting ways with these beloved sets, the passion for LEGO never extinguished. In the late 1990s, during a strike, Blakbird sold the sets on eBay, which reignited his interest. The pivotal moment occurred when he encountered the 8480 Space Shuttle at a store and couldn't resist adding it to his collection. From there, his fascination with Technic grew, and he embarked on a quest to collect and understand the inner workings of Technic sets. With an entire room dedicated to displaying his collection in his previous house, Blakbird's knowledge and obsession led him to create Technicopedia—a place for Technic enthusiasts to explore the functionality and mechanics behind these intricate LEGO sets. Alongside Technic, Blakbird still collects Space, Star Wars, Model Team, and Sculptures LEGO sets, with a staggering collection of approximately 200,000 pieces. Technicopedia serves as both a valuable resource and a fun experience for LEGO enthusiasts worldwide.
