## Description

The Ted Fund is a transformative nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between the experiences of children from different socioeconomic backgrounds in Evanston, Illinois. Established to provide quality, fee-based summer camp experiences, the fund actively facilitates access for approximately 150 children each year, empowering them with essential skills in teamwork, self-confidence, and cooperation. Through partnerships with local entities like District 65, YMCA, and YWCA, the Ted Fund awards scholarships that support children from second grade onward, ensuring they receive opportunities to engage in diverse activities, including games, arts and crafts, swimming, theatre, environmental studies, and STEM programs. The organization thrives on the support of volunteers and generous donors, with every contribution directly benefiting the children it serves. By investing in the youth of Evanston, the Ted Fund is committed to fostering a positive impact on the entire community, making participation in enriching programs a reality for all local children. Your ongoing support can help maintain this momentum and create lasting change.
