## Description

TEDxChicago is a Chicago-based platform for sharing ideas and bringing people together through talks, performances, and community events. Its 2026 event, “We the People,” takes place on October 3 at the Harris Theater in Millennium Park. Centered on participation, belonging, and the possibility of reshaping the systems that affect people’s lives, the program invites attendees to imagine and build a better future together.

The event features professionally coached speakers from fields including science, healthcare, education, arts, entrepreneurship, and community advocacy, alongside five live performances. The all-inclusive ticket experience includes hosted snacks, desserts, catered appetizers, and drinks such as beer, wine, coffee, and tea. Attendees can also explore pop-up art galleries by five Chicago visual artists and take part in activities throughout the theater’s lobby spaces. TEDxChicago offers a full day of programming across three sessions, with talks and performances designed to spark conversation and connect audiences with ideas from Chicago and beyond. The organization also maintains a library of past talks and hosts events and initiatives throughout the year.
