## Description

TEDxKCMT is an independently organized TEDx initiative operated under license from TED and associated with Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology. The college received its first TED license in March 2019, followed by a license for TEDxKCMT Women, described by the organization as the first event of its kind in Kerala. TEDxKCMT creates events that give speakers and performers a platform to share ideas, experiences, and innovations with an audience. Its inaugural event, CHECKMATE, took place on July 13, 2019, and featured people reflecting on how they overcame life’s challenges. The organization later presented TEDxKCMT Women: BOLD+BRILLIANT on December 14, 2019, celebrating women and ideas focused on empowerment and change. Through these events, TEDxKCMT aims to inspire its community and encourage fresh perspectives. Its work centers on curating TEDx experiences around distinctive themes, bringing together speakers, performers, and participants to explore ideas worth sharing.
