## Description

Tega no Oka Kindergarten and Nursery is an early childhood education and care center in Kashiwa, Chiba, combining the strengths of kindergarten and nursery-school education. The school describes its grounds, staff, and parking facilities as among the largest in Kashiwa, with a site of more than 10,000 tsubo. Its natural surroundings and varied educational programs support children’s physical and emotional development.

The curriculum includes moral education, nature experiences, food education, and activities that nurture sensitivity through sound. Children enjoy daily free play as well as regular events, including body painting and curry parties. The center welcomes children from infancy and offers classes for ages zero to two, including parent-and-child activities with exercise, songs, hand games, and story time.

Services also include opportunities for families to visit and play at the center, parenting consultations, and after-school care in a home-like setting. Tega no Oka provides enrollment information and school tours for prospective families, and offers a bus service.
