## Description

Tego is an AI security and governance platform designed to help organizations use AI agents without sacrificing control or speed. As agents take on tasks across engineering, sales and marketing, finance and legal, customer support, HR, and IT, they can act quickly with access to sensitive tools and data. Tego provides visibility into both approved and shadow agents, automatically mapping their configurations, connected tools, permissions, associated users, and risk posture.

The platform creates a purpose profile for each agent and continuously compares its behavior with what it is meant to do. When an agent’s actions drift beyond that purpose, Tego can enforce task-scoped access, block risky steps before they execute, and revoke access when a task ends. Its controls evaluate activity in the context of an ongoing session, rather than treating each action in isolation. For example, Tego can stop an agent from following an instruction in a task comment to delete an entire employee records table when that action exceeds the user’s request.
