## Description

TEJIDOTECA is a free Spanish-language textile library and technical dictionary created by Antonio Jiménez, also known as MRCHIMINI. Developed from his experience as a textile engineer, fashion designer and teacher, the resource helps students, educators, designers, industry professionals, specialist retailers and curious learners understand textile materials and how they are made.

Its visual reference sheets, definitions and articles cover fibres, yarns, woven and knitted fabrics, nonwovens, bleaching, dyeing, printing, finishing, garment components, textile machinery, labelling and sustainability. Users can explore the journey from raw fibre to finished product, with information on material properties, identification, construction, applications and performance. A free yarn-count calculator converts between Tex, dtex, Denier, Nm and cotton Ne, and can calculate theoretical counts for plied yarns.

TEJIDOTECA also offers practical workshop guides for dyeing, printing, surface construction, biomaterials, repair and creative circularity. Its expanding library is designed to make technical textile knowledge accessible in one place, from foundational concepts to professional topics and hands-on projects.
