They have funded thousands of corneal transplants and established the Tej Kohli Cornea Institute, which has treated over 223,404 outpatients and performed more than 43,255 surgical procedures. In collaboration with renowned ophthalmologist Dr Sanduk Ruit, Tej Kohli also launched the Tej Kohli & Ruit Foundation, aiming to cure 300,000 to 500,000 cases of needless blindness by 2030. This foundation conducts microsurgical outreach camps to treat cataracts in underprivileged communities.

He has provided support to disabled children in Costa Rica and launched free canteens through the FundaKohli initiative, ensuring that struggling families have access to nutritious meals. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tej Kohli extended emergency funding and resources to community movements that aimed to prevent hunger among vulnerable families. Recognizing the importance of collaboration, the Tej Kohli Foundation advocates for global health initiatives and has made generous contributions to the COVID-19 Vaccine Development Fund at Massachusetts Eye And Ear.
