## Description

The Telcoin Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainable development and governance of the Telcoin Platform. As an associate member of the GSMA, it represents mobile networks and other stakeholders in the advancement of this innovative platform. At the core of the Telcoin ecosystem is the Telcoin (TEL) token, which serves as both the native currency and governance token for the Telcoin Network—a public blockchain secured by GSMA mobile operators globally. The platform features the TELx DeFi exchange, facilitating user-owned and self-custodial digital asset transactions. Additionally, the Telcoin Application Network opens its doors to GSMA members, allowing them to create distributed applications seamlessly. Through the Telcoin Association Governance Forum, stakeholders engage in a decentralized governance model, collaborating on proposals that shape the future trajectory of the Telcoin Platform and its services. By promoting an inclusive approach to blockchain technology, the Telcoin Association ensures ongoing innovation and accessibility in mobile finance solutions.
