## Description

Telecan is a German service that helps patients access medical cannabis treatment through a personal, secure and largely digital process. Patients begin by completing a medical questionnaire, then arrange a consultation with a doctor, either by video or at a practice. During the appointment, the doctor reviews symptoms, medical history and previous treatments to assess whether medical cannabis may be appropriate and provide individual advice. If prescribed, medication can be delivered to the patient’s home or collected from a partner pharmacy.

The service connects patients with doctors working in licensed practices in Germany and partner pharmacies offering a range of products and digital prescription handling. Telecan also provides information about registration, treatment steps, costs and common questions about therapy. Its listed consultation fees start at €39 for an initial appointment including a prescription, with follow-up prescriptions priced at €12.90; medication costs vary by product and pharmacy. Patients can request documents such as a patient card or short medical certificate through their profile.
