Temple Basin is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s oldest club-run ski areas, set on the main divide of the Southern Alps. Welcoming skiers, snowboarders and mountain explorers, it is known for its challenging alpine terrain and club-field culture. Three rope tows provide access to ungroomed slopes across several ridges and basins, with options for beginners and intermediate riders, as well as steep, technical routes for those prepared to hike.
