Tempty Foods is a sustainable and innovative food brand that aims to make a positive impact within our food system. Founded by a team of passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds, our journey began in February 2021 during a food innovation course at DTU. United by the shared ambition to work with sustainable and innovative foods, we quickly developed a concept around using alternative protein, specifically mycelium, to create foods of the future. Within just 5 days of meeting, we applied for and won an accelerator program and grant, propelling us forward. Throughout our journey, we have been fortunate to receive support from over 10 advisors and numerous programs. Some of our achievements include being the winner of SKYLAB IGNITE 2021, Mikrolegat, and ECOTROPHELIA DENMARK 2021, as well as securing a spot as a finalist at the SDG Tech Awards Denmark 2021.
