# Tennessee Gravestone - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `tennesseegravestones.org` ## Description **Tennessee Gravestone Photo Project** The Tennessee Gravestone Photo Project is a dedicated, non-profit initiative aimed at preserving the legacy of our ancestors through the digital archiving of gravestone images across Tennessee's cemeteries. With over 254,000 recorded gravestone photos, the project provides an invaluable resource for family history researchers and genealogy enthusiasts. The project addresses the challenges posed by time, as many gravestone inscriptions become harder to read, thus ensuring that these critical historical records are preserved for future generations. Volunteers play a vital role in the project's success, contributing to the collection of photographs and assisting in the ongoing archiving efforts. In addition to general gravestone records, there is a specialized database honoring Veterans, making it easy to search for and commemorate those who served. The Tennessee Gravestone Photo Project invites community involvement and fosters a collaborative environment where individuals can contribute their skills to keep ancestral memories alive. This mission not only enriches historical understanding but also connects families with their heritage. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idW7iJAdt0/w/371/h/84/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1739225200001) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Crimson | #dc142a | accent | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - arial — asset _(custom)_ - arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
