The Racquet Industry Research Group (RIRG) is a not-for-profit trade association focused on the business of racquet sports. Founded in 1974 as the American Tennis Federation, it has served the industry for more than 40 years. Its mission is to promote the growth of racquet sports and support the economic vitality of the racquet sports industry.

RIRG provides research, resources, and education to help businesses make informed strategic decisions. It produces more than 70 research reports annually, covering topics such as the state of the industry, tennis participation, and wholesale and retail equipment. Its offerings include free and members-only research, U.S. consumer reports, and previews of its State of the Industry and Insider reports.

The organization also publishes Racquet Sports Industry Magazine and provides webinars, learning series, and managers’ manuals. Members can access benefits such as a member directory, renewals, and industry resources, while businesses can explore RIRG’s advertising program.
