## Description

Terra is a materials company focused on decarbonizing cement and supporting lower-carbon construction. Its OPUS product family offers engineered cement replacements designed to reduce emissions without requiring changes to established concrete workflows. OPUS SCM is a supplementary cementitious material that can replace up to 50% of Portland cement in approved conditions. Terra describes it as a cost-competitive alternative to traditional materials such as fly ash, with consistent performance and 50–70% lower embodied CO₂ per ton of Portland cement replaced. The product is expected to be available from mid-2027.

Terra is also developing OPUS ZERO, a prospective 100% Portland cement replacement with a pathway to zero CO₂; it is currently in concrete trials. The company’s production process converts abundant, locally available raw materials into engineered cementitious material using a proprietary reactor and vitrification process. Terra is completing its first full-scale commercial facility in Cleburne, Texas, in partnership with Asher Materials. Its website also provides product information, technical resources, project showcases, and opportunities to discuss sourcing materials or exploring manufacturing facilities.
