Its extensive gas pipeline network supports supply from northern Germany to Lake Constance, while its high-performance fibre-optic network provides telecommunications infrastructure in Baden-Württemberg and connects data communications more broadly. The company also offers technical services for high-pressure gas pipelines and facilities, and provides customer information and digital capacity submissions through its ConnectCapacity portal.

Looking ahead, terranets bw is preparing its networks for hydrogen transport and working to connect Baden-Württemberg with national and European hydrogen infrastructure. Its projects include the South German Gas Pipeline, which is planned as a key hydrogen supply route in the state, and RHYn Interco, a cross-border initiative intended to link France and Baden-Württemberg. The company also collaborates on Flow, a planned hydrogen pipeline system connecting markets and industry. Through network development, customer services and its “Hydrogen for Baden-Württemberg” initiative, terranets bw supports the region’s energy infrastructure and its transition toward future energy supplies.
